Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost?
Between £15 and £90 per visit. The cost will be determined by a number of factors which will be established upon the assessment and the current banding criteria set out by Lambeth Council. The majority of our members pay between £30 – £45 per visit.
How will I get there?
Lambeth Council are trying to reduce the cost of transporting people to and from the centre by encouraging those that are eligible to use the provisions that the Council have already provided. That means Freedom Pass, Taxi Card, Dial-a-ride, and mobility allowance. If, after having explored these options and found them unworkable, it is possible that provision of transport can be provided by the centre – but only after a Transport Risk Assessment has been carried out.
What can I expect to do there?
When you come to the centre you will be given a support plan, that will outline the objectives and outcomes you hope to achieve. Our main areas are exercise, where 90% and above of the members participate, computer room and independent living skills. We also have some other things you might like to get involved with, depending on what day/s you attend. Please see our Day Care section which has a timetable describing the activities which take place here during a typical week.
